What it is
JScraft is my own version of a browser-based Minecraft 1.12.2 client. It started from an open-source Eaglercraft build (a clever WebAssembly port of Minecraft), and I'm reskinning it into something that's mine — a dark "Shadow" theme in purple and black, my own logo, and my own loading screen. You open a web page and just… play. 🖤💜
What's done
- Minecraft 1.12.2 running in the browser (fast WASM build)
- Browser tab renamed to JScraft, with my logo as the tab icon
- Custom JScraft boot / loading screen
- A dark purple & black "Shadow" theme I made as a resource pack
The roadmap
- Replace the in-game "MINECRAFT" title logo with a custom JScraft wordmark
- Mission 2: connect JScraft to my GGSMP server so friends can join from a browser
- Mission 3: add my own content — custom textures and blocks
The honest bit
JScraft is built on open-source work (Eaglercraft / EaglercraftX by lax1dude, 1.12.2 port by PeytonPlayz585) under the MIT license — the logo art and the Shadow theme are mine. It's a personal learning project: Minecraft is owned by Mojang / Microsoft, so this is just for learning and playing, not for public hosting. 📚
